The real strength of GK, lies in it's ability to design and build custom fire and rescue apparatus to meet the exacting needs of today's emergency service departments.
The company is owned and staffed by many active members of fire/rescue departments, and as such, know the real world needs of todays apparatus and equipment. GK also offers full service capabilities for all types and brands of pumpers, ladders, towers, brush trucks, rescues, utility vehicles etc. Our service capabilities involve all aspects of the emergency vehicle including engine, chassis, pump, body, paint, trim, striping & lettering, electrical wiring, radios, warning lights, flood/scene lighting, sirens etc. A state-of-the-art, in ground pump testing facility allows for annual pump recertification tests, new appartus final testing and general pump analysis. The company regularly conducts training and seminars on a variety of emergency-related topics and it's Open House, held every two years has become an eagerly anticipated event by area departments.
